So i have heard it countless times that ladies should stay away from a man’s phone if they really want to be happy. I do not know what the people who make these assertions think but i really do beg to differ. For a man i love, i will search your soul, not just your phone.

I was further shocked when my friend, E_e (don’t wanna mention her name) said “If you wanna be happy, stay away from a man’s phone”. lol

So, here are reasons why you should surf his phone, without fear!

1. If he’s for real, he has nothing to hide

The more we agree that a partner’s phone shouldn’t be surfed, the more reasons we give to our partners to be private and keep secrets to themselves. If a man is really into you, then he should have nothing to hide. There shouldn’t be anything that will hurt you in his phone. If he won’t hurt you by any act, whatsoever, then there shouldn’t be any reason why you should be banned from accessing some parts of his life, including his phone. For a serious relationship, there should be no restriction. it’s not an open relationship.

2. It saves your time

Sometimes, you can get to know a lot about a man’s life by going through his cell phone. You shouldn’t be a CIA of NPF agent. What’s important is that, if he just wants to play around or mess with your life, you will get a hint from either a few or all of his conversations, pictures, videos, audios, etc, and so many other things in his mobile. I know that a few heartbreaks have been avoided because these relationships never even took place in the first place. Imagine a guy telling you all the sweet words in the world and he said same things to another girl on a chat five minutes ago. Sweetheart, knowing this saves your time. get it!

3. Knowledge does not kill

It is much better to find out information, as much as you can, from your man’s mobile device in a way that you get to understand his person, than to find this out in a shocking way. In fact, going through your man’s phone makes you know this person more and better.

4. It makes you truly happy

You are gonna find yourself happy, that’s if you find out that the guy is for real, or even otherwise. Except for guys who are pros in deception, surfing a man’s device and getting to know about most of his mobile engagements gives you some kinda joy, making you know fully well that you know what he’s about. Imagine yourself being in love with someone and you do not know what his phone even looks like! Tell yourself the truth, there’s so much you yet don’t know about him. These are the kinds of relationships that end up with the man saving telephone numbers as “edible catering”. lol. In fact, surfing his phone alerts you of any new friendship. We can’t be sharing men in this economic recession. lol

5. It defines the relationship

Trust me, a man who truly loves you will not involve you in every part of his life and exclude you from his phone. It tells how much the man is willing to be “naked” for you. You know you are a sidechick or a “passerby” when you touch his phone and he’s like “give me my phone”.

Inasmuch as going through your man’s phone shouldn’t be a tabboo, it shouldn’t be a routine. Bear in mind that not all relationships are gonna work; so don’t just become a CIA agent throughout the entire relationship. summary: You shouldn’t be banned from “touching” your man’s phone, that’s if he’s your man. lol

Lemme know what you think!
My name na Angel Goldy, i just want make #commonsense lol

30 is a beautiful age. It’s an age where you have gone through a lot of things and are just set to utilize your past experiences for the best and the rest of your life. However, there are many things to know and avoid at that age. It’s definitely not an age to fool or play around with life. Happy reading!

1. Negative people

Maybe all through your twenties, you are used to living your life in an attempt to please the whole   world, you want to appear to the whole world as a good person. Here’s what you need to know, YOU CAN’T PLEASE THE WHOLE WORLD! It is important at this point to avoid and dispose, as much as possible, people with negative vibes. When you are sure that they aren’t gonna help you become a better person, please DISPOSE!

2. Wasteful spending

For both men and women, it is necessary to spend wisely. There are things that are regarded as “wants” while other are regarded as “needs”. It is imperative to dwell and focus on needs than wants.

3. Impressing people

Sometimes, people spend the most of their resources trying to impress people who do not care about them. Most importantly, most of the people you try to impress, especially in dressing and in purchasing resources, are also very busy trying to make good use of their own resources. Do not waste your own resources impressing people. Live your life, just be alive, live well!

4. Know what you want in life

If you have wandered all through your twenties a nonentity, 30 is not an age to approach with uncertainty. In your life, know exactly what you want. Maybe you have been trying lots of things, maybe you have lived life with trials and errors, well, this is a good time to choose one thing and focus on it.

5. Know what you want in every relationship

There are lots of young people who are in different relationships and cannot specifically define such relationships well enough to tell what such relationships are bringing to them. It is worthless to fill up your life with many relationships and not know what exactly you are doing them. Define every relationship, know exactly what it is meant to bring to you, Don’t date somebody to pass time or just for the fun or idea of being in a relationship. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. Do not be caught up in that web of asking somebody “what exactly are we?” Hello??? before a relationship starts, define it! Let it be headed somewhere. If it’s business, define it. If it’s erotic, define it. if it’s emotional/marital, make sure it is defined.

6. Have more than one source of income

Maybe you have had a white-collar job all your life. It’s time to get better. You know. life doesn’t just get better, life gets tougher but the tough gets going. It is very important to have an additional source of income before or at 30. Life’s gotta step up

7. Master your emotions

Have you ever had the disgusting experience of watching an adult “mis-express” feelings in the most appalling way? it’s outrightly undescribable. you don’t wanna throw yourself around everyone in an attempt to make them understand how you feel. Master your emotions. Avoid emotional outbursts in public.

8. Save, save and save more money

So many young people have found this one of the most difficult things to do. it is very important to save. Imagine those things you bought when you least needed them; all of that money can sum up to something big to help out in the day of need.

9. Find that “friend” that’s for you

It’s funny about friendship. When you’re younger everyone is your friend. As you get older, however, you realize you only really need a handful of friends. And, that most important friend is your bestie. You know. The person who knows everything about you and is still friends with you. Find a quality friend whom you enjoy and remember that friendships require effort. Put the time in so you have this important stabilizer in your life.

10. Do something you enjoy

Life is not all about making money. There are things you should want to do, not for money but for charity and for fun. Touch a life. Go out of your way to make someone happy. Just do something that brings you pleasure. Something fulfilling. It could seem way too small to you but it could make someone’s day.

11. Don’t be afraid of failure

There’s no better way to learn, grow and drive yourself to succeed in the future than to fail. Fail fast and ensure that you do not leave yourself in the mess of your failure. Fail and fall as many times as possible, but when you get up, learn something. Also know that it is much easier to fail before 30 than after.

12. Travel by yourself

This may sound frightening. But traveling by yourself will push you to get out of your shell, help you discover who you really are and have experiences that you probably wouldn’t have had if you traveled with someone else. It will also give you valuable thinking time.

13. Live a debt-free life

No matter how pressing the need is, it is necessary to know that life is possible and better without debts. You don’t wanna be subjected to lots of embarrassments at 30 all in connection to the debts you owe years before.

14. Wherever you go, leave a good impression

it doesn’t matter if the person who first sees you is not the person you expect to see. Make a good impression wherever you go.

15. It’s your life, do whatever you want with it

There are step by step ways to accomplish any goal. If it has been accomplished by someone else, all you have to do is choose your virtual mentor and follow in his or her footsteps. If you are doing something that has not been done before, it is more challenging but your path can be mapped out if you take note of the things that have worked for you and those that have not. Do the things that work and pitch the ones that don’t.

16. If you want to be successful, you should hang out with successful people.

Your own thoughts, ideas and considerations about things shape your future. We live our ideas. For example, if you have an idea that it is noble to be poor, you will live your life in such a way as to remain poor. If this idea is sunk into your subconscious, you don’t even know you are acting it out in life. A good exercise, when things are not going well in life, is to sit down and write out all of your thoughts and considerations about the thing you are having trouble with. Get rid of the ones that hold you back.

17. You are responsible for every action you take in life and every condition your life is in.

This sounds harsh and I had a hard time with that until I asked myself, “Who is the most motivated person to see that my life works out the way I want it to?” The answer is ME. So the next question is, “Who is really going to take responsibility to ensure that my life works out the way I want it to?” Again, there is only one answer. Yes, your mom and your wife and everyone who cares about you want your life to work out but you are responsible for everything that happens to you, even if the decisions were not taken by you, the fact that you made them happen to you makes you responsible.

18. School doesn’t work for everyone.

Especially in this day and age. School gives you information. You shouldn’t assume that the only way to success is to be schooled. There are many people who have made it in life without being schooled in anything at all.

19. Don’t be stereotype in thinking

Do not be so rigid in your thinking that you fail to admit other ways of doing things in life. There are many ways through which things can be done. When and where necessary, let go of your own ways and thoughts and be open to learning new things and ideas. Permit your mind to go wild as much as possible. It’s free, not to be paid for. Do not starve your mind!

20. Truth and integrity are your most valuable assets

You see what you see and deep down, you know the truth about things. Don’t divert from your course because someone else doesn’t like it. Don’t agree with someone just to keep the peace. Any peace you can get on this planet is bought through strength and integrity. It is maintained through the idea that you do not stand for lies and bad ethics. Integrity and truth are the seat of your power. If you let these things go, you have nothing.

21. Vengeance is futile. Drop that attempt!

Revenge for the sake of revenge never feels good when it is carried out and, believe it or not, it ties you to the person that you have taken revenge against. You will never be free of that person in your thoughts and mind thereafter. Sometimes you do have to act against a person to stop the damage they are wreaking on others. This is a correct action in the grand scheme of things. But revenge just for revenge’s sake is evil. I don’t care how many movies make it seem okay.

22. You matter more to your kids than to anyone else

If you lose a friend or a lover, you can find another one even if you are devastated. Your child can never find another mom or dad. They adore you from the moment they are born and look up to you. Do not take this lightly. Care for them and do not take unnecessary risks with your life. They cannot replace  you.

This fallacious  norm has been around for quite some time now, and this is particularly so in Africa. When a woman cheats, it is abominable, but when a man cheats, it is explainable.
But we wanna ask these questions today,
is it really normal or natural for a man to cheat?
is there a cheating “pipe” or “button” somewhere in their system that prompts them to cheat?
Are there men who have never cheated on their wives?
Are there justifiable reasons why men cheats?
Are women created to babysit the excesses of cheating men?

Well, we’ve gotta hear what you think, your opinion, your view, and even your experience

As a married man or dating man, have you ever cheated on your partner?

As a woman, has your partner ever cheated on you?

How do you handle issues of infidelity?

We really want to know, must every man cheat?

There are many fallacies and notions that Christians carry about church that should be either done away with or redirected. Some of these are discussed below:

You are the church

Most of the issues and controversies that surround churches nowadays are centered on the fact that the church is misrepresented. Everyone assumes that church is that beautiful building that can be entered into or accessed per time. Well, the church is not a place, it is a person, and you, at that. The church is the coming together of Christians; Christians are the body of Christ and as such, they form the church. Most importantly, if Christ has chosen to dwell in humans, mortal bodies, then it is wrong and would be a misappropriation to respect a building more than the entities in which Christ himself has chosen to dwell.

Church should accommodate all kinds of people

It is very wrong to assume that church is meant to have all the good people on earth. Nay! The church is like a clinic, you go there to get better, you go there in order to improve. The church is meant to accommodate different kinds of people; people who are with or without good character. There

is no better place for a sick person than the hospital, in the same vein, there is no better place for anyone else in the world than the gathering of Christians. So when you see sinners, evil people, bad people (in your own judgment, that is), going to church, to fellowship, it is going to be worthless for you to attempt to cast your “judgment stone” on them. They are coming to get better.

God loves sinners, He hates their sins

Just like a popular Nigerian proverb says: “Do not throw away a child with the bath water” . God is interested in sinners, for which reason he sent His only son to die for their sins. Therefore, inasmuch as God hates sins, He loves the sinners and he wishes so very much that they will turn from their wicked ways and embrace God. (Romans 10:13)

It’s not your job to judge

People nowadays have formed the habit of judging Christians with their own standards and supposed “church standards”. Well, your church should teach you not to do this, as God is not hiring. He is the righteous judge and your church standards are not the ultimate yardstick for measuring someone’s righteousness. It is not uncommon to see People being rated as Christians because they follow their church doctrines, which most of the times includes their modes of dressing, talking, etc. Most of them follow doctrines and abandon the gospel of Christ, which in itself is not right.

The most expensive gift you can give to God is not money

So many “money seeking” churches (if they are fit to be so-called) have in their quest for more money forgotten about the most important assignment for which they are called. Your church should teach you to know that money is not the best thing you can give to God; your life is. Many “pastors” will collect money from you to “support the work of God” without knowing whether or not you have Given your life to Christ. The best and most expensive thing you can give to God is  not your money or church offering, it is not even your tithe and offerings. Your life goes first. Men may be interested in your money and possessions but God wants your life. He gave His only begotten son up so that He can have your life, not your money! Your life! You first, before all you have gets to Him, He wants you! You! You!Your life is more important to God than your money. Don’t let any one trick you to give up all you have to them when you do not yet have a good relationship with God. God first. He is not hungry, he needs your life, not your money. God is not a beggar, don’t attempt to give Him money if he doesn’t have your life. (Matthew 6:33).

Everybody is meant to “preach” the gospel

It is erroneous to believe that preaching the gospel is exclusively the work of Pastors. God has commissioned Christians to go and preach the gospel. It is our responsibility as Christians to preach the Gospel, to go into all the ends of the earth, to spread the gospel! God doesn’t desire for sinners to perish, He wants them to come into light, knowledge. Therefore, relying on only the Pastors to do this would be inimical to the spread of Christendom. We are meant to show forth his power, his works, his glory, to the Ends of the Earth!

I personally think that this question can only be seen from different perspectives. Is it really right for a guy to spend endlessly on a girl simply because they are in a relationship that MAY or will HOPEFULLY lead to marriage? Lets consider these from a Yes/No perspective

Well, Yes, a guy should pay a girl’s bills for the following reasons and in the following circumstances

A man who wants to get married should have enough money to cater for “his woman”

Inasmuch as the relationship is not about money, a man who intends to get married to the woman he is dating should have what it takes to at least fend for few of a woman’s needs. The man should know that marriage comes with responsibilities and if he cannot care for a single woman, how much more a woman and children, plus all those expenses that come with marriage and fatherhood. Spending on her is an indication that you have no intentions of stressing out the woman who’s gonna bear your children and your name. It shouldn’t just be about professing “dry love” for her. Chairman, do something!

A man will only spend money on something that matters to him

No matter how broke the man may be, if he loves a woman, he will find a way to spend, out of his “poverty”, on her. This is because your heart lies where your treasure is. Most of the financially poor couples who live happily together are able to find happiness with themselves because they understand each other very well, more so, they know that their partners would do more for them if they have the wherewithal. If a man CANNOT spend on a woman, it could be an indication that he cares less about her; no matter how it is seen or perceived.

It goes a long way to prove the man’s sense of responsibility

This is Africa and we all know and agree that the man is the head of the family. If in a relationship, a man cannot pull his fiancee out of financial stress (where necessary), how much more in marriage? So being a man or a husband is not just about bearing a male name, it also involves having a “manly” pocket too. lol. Spending much on a woman you are dating especially when she needs it, providing for her needs – especially pressing needs- is an indication that the man is a “husband material – 12 yards, veritable real wax”. lol!

On the other hand, here are reasons i feel a man is not obligated to spend money on his girlfriend/fiance

A woman should have a life of her own

A woman should have a complete life, such that with or without a man, she can survive. Dating a man should not be a life time opportunity or an avenue for anyone to make money, except if you are doing business together. Therefore, being a woman is not just about being born a female gender; it requires the productive use of two hands and ten fingers, and even a functional brain to produce money for yourself. If the man wants to spend on the woman, fine, that’s his business, but it should’t be a do or die affair because the body or relationship is neither for sale or at the instance of money.

It’s an emotional relationship, not a job opportunity

Being in a relationship where marriage may be intended is not meant to just be a financial relationship. Every woman wants to be treated well with different gifts and all that, but most importantly, the value of a gift should not be measured by its market worth but should be commensurate with the worth of the relationship. So, dating a man does not automatically means that he has inherited and bought all your financial hardships. It’s a relationship, not a job opportunity or business gateway. The notion of finding a man to handover the baton of your hardship to is not one that is fanciful. Use your hands: even physically disabled people make money nowadays.
A man shouldn’t be the only one to provide money
Although most of the financial responsibilities of any union rests on the man, but that is not an outright sanction or verdict that indicates that the woman should do absolutely nothing. A woman should also be a source of joy to her husband and to her family as a whole. If a woman cannot fend or provide her basic needs before marriage, how much more difficult will it be when she gets married? Moreover, if she can hardly sustain herself as a single lady, her potential husband should just get set to fix his hands in a cuff of unending needs that cannot be easily provided.
So, having said these, i gotta know your opinions. Do you think it is right, moral, necessary and/or obligatory for a man to provide all or most of a woman’s needs simply because they are in a relationship? Let’s hear you please.
